The British singer – who was axed from the judging panel on the US version of The X Factor after just four days – is to sign a deal to appear alongside Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz in forthcoming movie What To Expect When You’re Expecting.

Cheryl – who worked as a judge on the UK version of The X Factor for three series – will play a TV talent show judge for her cameo role and will begin shooting her scenes later this month.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: “This is a bit of fun for Cheryl. She will film the scenes imminently and is really looking forward to it.
“It doesn’t mean she suddenly wants to become actress.
“It was just an opportunity that has come up while she has been having some down time and she thought it would be great fun to take part.”
The movie is an adaptation of the successful pregnancy guide of the same name and is being made by Lionsgate.
It is due for release next May.
