This series deals a lot with the heavy issue of child pornography in episodes such as ‘Angels’ and ‘Pandora’ where the victims are a couple of young boys brought in from Guatemala.
Always drawing empathy from the viewer, the impassioned Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) gives each case 100% having been a rape victim herself in the past. This series is less about the crime committed and more about the reactions of the detectives to the crime.
