In the late 1950s, an Osaka textile factory established a women worker's volleyball team under coach Hirofumi Daimatsu. The Nichibo Kaizuka team became known in the media as the "Witches of the Orient" because players seemingly possessed supernatural powers on the court. This documentary brings together surviving members of the team, who are now in their 70s, and reminisces about their glory days on and off the volleyball court, culminating in a showdown with the Soviet Union for Olympic gold.
