Twelve-year-old gymnast Tinja cannot please her demanding, image-obsessed mother Aiti. The matriarch run a popular blog called Lovely Everyday Life and insists on airbrushing the clan's day-to-day activities for her followers with a palette of pastels and florals. During an expedition in the woods, Tinja stumbles upon a strange egg and brings home her discovery, giving it pride of place in her bed. The creature that eventually emerges from the egg becomes the girl's closest friend.
