Restaurant owner Wang Chi and his friend Jack Burton head to the airport, where Wang’s fiancee Miao Yin has flown into San Francisco from China. At the terminal, Jack intervenes in a fracas involving a street gang called the Lords Of Death and they kidnap Miao Yin and spirit her away to Chinatown. Wang and Jack give chase and become embroiled in a brutal turf war between the ancient Chinese societies of Chang Sing and Wing Kong.
