In 2005, Dutch violinist and conductor Andre Rieu staged a series of open-air concerts in the Vrijthof in Maastricht in the Netherlands, establishing an annual tradition which has been recorded for broadcast in cinemas around the world. To mark 15 years of these hometown concerts, director Michael Wiseman presents a compilation of favourite moments featuring the King of Waltz, the 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, invited sopranos, tenors and famous guest artists.
