The Spice Girl – who has three children, eight-year-old Brooklyn, five-year-old Romeo and two-year-old Cruz, with David – revealed the soccer star has kept the romantic tradition going since before they married in 1999.
Victoria made the revelation while appearing on wacky Japanese TV show, Smap Smap, to promote the upcoming Spice Girls comeback tour.
The 33-year-old singer looked bemused as the hosts of the bizarre variety programme – Takuya Kimura and Goro Inagaki, of the music group Smap – treated her to a unique rendition of the Spice Girls’ hit song Wannabe.
Victoria – who looked stunning in a gold sequined mini-dress – also humoured the presenters as they acted out a series of peculiar comedy sketches.
David and Victoria – who started dating in 1997 – married in spectacular fashion in an elaborate ceremony in Ireland on 4 July, 1999.
The couple – who hired 437 staff for the grand event – wore matching purple ensembles and sat on gold thrones for the wedding reception.
The family relocated to the US this year after David signed a reported USD250 million contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team.
