The 33-year-old actress – who has three adopted children and a biological daughter Shiloh with partner Brad Pitt – is in the Lenval Hospital in Nice, France, awaiting the arrival of the twins, who are believed to be due later this month.
Hospital spokesperson Nadine Bauer said: “There’s no urgency. Angelina Jolie’s admittance has been planned for a long time. She is very well and everything is fine. There is no need for people to worry.”
Meanwhile, French magazine Closer – who reported Angelina had already given birth on their website yesterday (01.07.08) – have updated their report, saying she will remain in hospital until the birth of her twins.
They released a statement saying: “Angelina Jolie will give birth in the following days. This morning we informed you that Angelina Jolie was supposedly giving birth. The actress is actually under observation at Lenval hospital in Nice. She was admitted on Sunday afternoon (29.06.08) and should remain there until she gives birth of her twins. She is due in the upcoming days.”
Earlier this year, Angelina insisted she loved the feeling of carrying twins, adding: “Unlike most women, I love being pregnant. It makes you feel more like a woman than you’ve ever felt. You just feel like everything about your body is there for your baby.”
