Amy Winehouse has been threatened with legal action after she pulled out of a Paris concert just two hours before she was due to take to the stage.

The Rehab singer was scheduled to headline the Rock En Seine festival on Friday (29.08.08) but told organisers at the last minute she had been taken ill at her London home and would not be appearing.
Festival bosses are now planning to start legal proceedings against Amy due to the cancellation.
A statement posted on the website of the three-day event said: “We were told by Amy Winehouse’s agent at 8pm that she would not be there, and we were forced to cancel the performance.
“We have still not been given any explanation of the exact reasons for her absence.”
Amy – who was diagnosed with scarring on her lungs which can lead to the chronic lung condition emphysema earlier this year – was reportedly too unwell to travel to the show, although she did not need hospital treatment.
Her spokesman would not comment on the legal threat, but said: “Amy Winehouse was taken ill at her house and wasn’t able to travel to France for the concert.
“She is currently at home recovering. The illness is nothing serious, nothing that some time in bed and a break from singing won’t cure.”
The troubled singer’s next scheduled performance is at the Bestival music festival, on the Isle of Wight, on Saturday (06.09.08).
The singer’s father Mitch has previously stated she will take some time off after the appearance.
