The 27-year-old hopeful – whose real full name is Lady Catherine Anna Brudenell-Bruce – has issued a picture of her father Lord Cardigan, also known as David Brudenell-Bruce, to staff at the BBC One talent show’s studios to ensure he stays away from her as she takes to the stage on Saturday night (19.05.12).

Bo became estranged from her 59-year-old dad, who has rarely spoken to her or his son Thomas, Viscount Savernake, since he split from their terminally ill mother Rosamund seven years ago.

A friend of the singer told The Sun: ”Bo’s biggest fear is coming face to face with him.”

But Lord Cardigan says he has told a pal he has no intention of trying to get into the studios, despite admitting he would ”love to” see her perform live.

He said: ”I’d love to watch from the back then slip away. But I’d never want to upset her again.”

Bo was recently said to be considering legal action to keep her father away from The Voice as she competes in the show after insisting their relationship is ”beyond repair”.

A source previously said: ”Lord Cardigan has been in touch with Bo since she appeared on The Voice. He’s been emailing her and wants to see her. But she doesn’t want anything to do with him.”
