Hugh Grant’s mystery new brunette girl has been revealed to be an ex-adult film star.

The Notting Hill actor was seen passionately kissing Shu Qi – the star of a host of X-rated movies, including Sex and Zen II – in London restaurant Roka recently, embarrassing other diners with their racy antics.
The 31-year-old Asian beauty has also appeared on the front cover of a number of adult magazines, including Playboy.
Shu, who resides in Hong Kong, is now pursuing a career in mainstream movies and has been staying with Hugh’s film director friend John Duigan – who was seen stroking and caressing her thigh as she smooched with Hugh – while he considers her for potential projects.
Yesterday (16.12.07), John dismissed the restaurant incident as just a bit of fun between friends.
He said: “This whole thing has been blown out of proportion. It was just people having fun in a bar.”
Shu and John – who directed Hugh, 47, in the 1994 movie Sirens – were yesterday spotted leaving the director’s London apartment separately, but they later met up again at a bookshop.
