Gary Barlow is “at war” with Kelly Rowland.

The Take That star had grown close to his fellow X Factor judge during the audition stages of the competition, but now the ITV1 show is reaching the live stages, he is determined to triumph with his Boys category.
He said: “I get on with Kelly. Well, I did until this point.
“When she got given the Girls at boot camp, I’ve noticed the texts have stopped. It’s all gone into a new gear.
“It’s war now. But that’s fair enough.”
Gary believes he has an advantage because Kelly is going on tour with Chris Brown as the competition progresses, whereas he is able to devote all his time to his acts.
He added in an interview: “The great thing is, when I get home I’ve got nothing in my diary other than this show. I think I’m lucky. I already know Kelly’s on tour with Chris Brown. That’s good for me. I’m thinking, ‘You go on tour while I work here’.
“I know the girls are a brilliant category so we’ve got to work on our plan of eliminating someone. But I’m confident we’ve got the winner in this category.”
Despite the rivalry between the judges – including Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos – Gary insists they won’t let it affect the contestants.
He added: “I like the rivalry between the judges. But I don’t want it ever to result in the artists and the talent suffering because of it.
“That for me is the only line I am not going to cross.”
