Despite reports that Reid already has a girlfirend – Marie Thornton – his mum is ready to give the thumbs-up to her son’s new romance.
“He hadn’t mentioned anything about Jordan, but I’d be happy to meet any person he chooses,” Carol Reid told The Mirror.
Carol appeared to put the boot into the Alex/Marie relationship, saying:
“Alex still sees Marie every now and again, but he was a single man and doesn’t have any children.”
That sounds like a barb given that Marie’s friends are quoted as saying that she still believes her raltionship with Reid is on-going.
Jordan’s handlers, meanwhile, deny the rumours that she is seeing Reid, except in his capacity as her bodyguard.
