Simon Cowell is being supported by ex-girlfriend Sinitta following the demise of his six-year relationship with Terri Seymour.

The American Idol judge – who was reportedly dumped by Terri over the phone several weeks ago – has been spending more time with Sinitta since his relationship ended, with the pair seen enjoying an intimate chat over afternoon tea at exclusive London department store Harrods recently.
A source said: “Sinitta and Simon have become much closer although Simon insists they’re just good friends. He prides himself on staying friends with exes.”
Sinitta, who Simon dated 18 years ago, is going through her own relationship troubles at the moment.
Her marriage to financier Andy Wilner is “struggling” following his decision to move to Hong Kong alone in April, leaving her with their adopted children Magdalenea, three, and Zac, two.
The source added: “They have been offering each other much support over their troubled relationships. Sinitta has always helped put a smile back on Simon’s face. She’s become the closest person to him.”
Sinitta, 42, is working closely with 49-year-old Simon at present because she is part of his team of pop experts for British talent show The X Factor.
Terri, 34, and Simon reportedly split over his refusal to have children – the same reason he parted ways from former chart-star Sinitta, who had a 1986 hit with So Macho.
Simon’s mother Julie confirmed: “‘Simon has a right to his own life, we all do, but Terri wanted a baby and things didn’t work out. The split was really based on the fact that she wanted a baby and to get married.”
Terri has told friends the split was “a mutual decision”, and is now rumoured to be dating Hollywood actor Stephen Dorff.
