The British rockers have joined previously announced artists Busta Rhymes, John Legend and The Guillemots in signing up to play the Royal Albert Hall on September 26 as part of the Orange RockCorps event, but fans can only get tickets by volunteering to help in their local community for a minimum of four hours.
The scheme is based on a hugely successful initiative in America. Fans can apply to volunteer for tickets at www.orangerockcorps.co.uk.
Meanwhile, Feeder – who also announced they will play London’s Astoria on 18 November – have revealed the support line-up for their forthcoming tour.
The run of concerts will feature UK rockers Fightstar – fronted by former Busted singer Charlie Simpson – and new five-piece The Chemists, who are currently working on their debut album.
Feeder frontman Grant Nicholas says the band are particularly excited about performing at the Astoria.
He said: “It’s a great atmosphere, really intimate, a great venue for both band and audience.”
