A group of British Army officers take part in a survival exercise on the Scottish Highlands. Midway through the operation, Sergeant Wells and his men stumble on a pile of human remains, and are soon under attack themselves from giant, wolf-like creatures. The men seek refuge in a rickety farmhouse, where a zoologist called Megan and injured Captain Ryan reveal the horrifying truth about the beasts which patrol the surrounding wilderness.
