Sorceress Medea was born in Colchis but lives in the Greek city of Corinth and is an outcast in the wealthy and sophisticated metropolis. She used her magic to murder her own brother and help her lover Giasone steal the golden fleece. Giasone falls in love with Glauce, the princess of Corinth, and they plan to marry.
