The actress says playing English archaeologist Lara Croft in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001 and the sequel Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life in 2003 means she sometimes unknowingly adopts the accent.
She said: “I still slide into an English accent every now and then from my Tomb Raider days!”
Angelina – who is currently expecting twins with partner Brad Pitt – also revealed she loved working with James McAvoy in new assassin movie Wanted, because he was so “down to earth”.
She added to BBC Radio 1: “The thing about James is that you meet so many actors in this business, and you meet James and think, ‘Thank God, someone down to earth who is going to make it.’
“But the kissing scene was our first scene together, and I was just thinking how bizarre that was!”
Wanted is released worldwide later this month.
