THE POLICE are set to become involved in the Jacqui Smith porn video case.

MPs are said to be angry that details of the Labour Home Secretary’s expenses file – which included claims for two mucky films viewed by Richard Timmey, Smith’s husband – were leaked to the Sunday Express and they believe theft of a digital copy of the expenses form may be involved.
There are also rumours that there is a Tory party mole in the House of Commons expenses office.
On the other hand, the porn video claim seems to many outsiders to be close to theft in itself, from the public purse.
“Quite obviously a claim should never have been made for these films, and as you know that money is being paid back,” said a contrite Timmey, who works as his wife’s parliamentary aide.
Along with the two blue movies, Timmey claimed for Ocean’s 13 and Surf’s Up, all as part of the couple’s Virgin Media package, which includes their internet connection.
MPs are allowed to claim for internet access, as along as it is used for work purposes.
“I am sorry that, in claiming for my internet connection, I mistakenly claimed for a television package alongside it,” said Smith.
“As soon as the matter was brought to my attention, I took steps to contact the relevant parliamentary authorities and rectify the situation. All money claimed for the television package will be paid back in full.”
Suggestions that one of the porn films was called Dick Tiny and Jack-Off Smith Do Westminster have been ruled out.
