The Gimme More singer attend the court-ordered deposition at the Los Angeles office of attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan to answer questions regarding her lifestyle and parenting of sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and 16-month-old Jayden James.
Britney, 26, arrived in her white Mercedes-Benz SL65 with friend-and-manager Sam Lufti at 10.40am, both with “serious expressions on their faces”. But she was said to be in “good spirits” when she left at 1.20pm.
Kaplan said previously: “Kevin wants nothing more than to be able to parent his children with participation by their mother. But the best interest of the children requires that they be in the most sound, safe, nurturing and consistent environment. That is paramount.”
Kevin, 29, currently has full custody of the children. Britney had three supervised visits a week with the boys, subject to drug testing, but she lost those rights in an emergency court order on January 4.
The ruling was made after she was involved in a three-hour stand-off with police when she refused to return the boys to Kevin. The chaotic incident ended with the singer being hospitalised for a psychiatric evaluation.
Meanwhile, Britney visited Burbanks Millennium Dance Studios on Sunday night (20.01.08) to practice a routine for her new single Hot As Ice. As the singer left, waiting photographers asked her if she had a message for her paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, who she has reportedly taken out a restraining order against.
She replied in a British accent: “I don’t know who that is. I have never met him before.”
Britney then told photographers, still in her British accent: “You’re better off being homeless than being me, sir. It’s been a long time since I had fun.”
