Prince William and Duchess Kate - who is eight and a half months pregnant - have been given a box of condoms by the Finnish government.
The Finns sent the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge the birth control aids, as they do all new parents in Finland, to re-enforce the message that couples should enjoy a break before thinking about having a second child.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said: "We were delighted to receive the very kind gift from the Finnish government.
"It was a very thoughtful gesture and we're very grateful for it. I'm sure the duke and duchess will be very interested to see the contents."
As well as contraceptives, Prince William and Duchess Catherine - who is due to give birth to their first child on July 13 - received a snowsuit and leggings to ensure their little one will be snug when the cold weather sets in, as well as a hooded bath towel, a teething toy and nappy cream.
