Calvin Barr is separated from his sweetheart Maxine in order to serve in the Second World War. During a final tour of duty, he kills Adolf Hitler and the Nazis and the United States conceal this fact from the outside world. Calvin returns home to a life of solitude without Maxine, becoming a recluse except for interactions with his trusty dog and brother Ed. Many years later, US authorities approach Calvin to hunt and kill a hulking creature known as the Bigfoot.
