Family loyalties are tested as Michael Corleone continues to assert himself and rises up the ranks of the criminal fraternity, destroying anyone who stands in his way. Meanwhile, young Vito Corleone dips his toes into organised crime and lays the foundations for a new, stronger Corleone dynasty, for whom the sins of the fathers are repeated by sons with blood-spattered gusto.
