Struggling musicians Joe and Jerry witness the 1929 St Valentine’s Day Massacre and flee for their lives with the mob in hot pursuit. Their only escape is to dress as saxophonist Josephine and double bass player Daphne and pass themselves off as women in the ranks of an all-girl band, travelling towards Miami.
