In Safe Hands

A 21-year-old mother anonymously gives up her newborn infant for adoption. Temporarily christened Theo, the child becomes the primary concern of a social worker called Jean and three case workers, Karine, Lydie and Mathilde, who must find the baby a loving permanent home. Referred to by the system as a pupil, Theo is at the mercy of bureaucrats but his best chance at happiness might be a hopeful mother called Alice.
