Globe On Screen Encore Screening: The Winter's Tale

Blanche McIntyre’s critically acclaimed production of Shakespeare’s tragedy-tinged romance is broadcast live from the stage of the historic Shakespeare’s Globe theatre in London. King Leontes of Sicilia entreats his dutiful and pregnant wife, Queen Hermione, to plead with childhood friend King Polixenes of Bohemia to stay a while longer rather than return home to see his son and tend to state affairs.
