The 28-year-old singer will take to the stage on 9 November where she is expected to be performing songs from her new album Christmas, With Love which will be released on 2 December.

The album contains classic Christmas tracks such as O Holy Night and Silent Night in addition to three original tracks including, One More Sleep which the star has teased online.

As well as Doolittle, the former X Factor contestant will be joined by Emma Bunton. Jamie Theakston will host the festive event and the iconic lights will be switched on by Modern Family star Ty Burrell and Hollywood film director Rob Minkoff.

Leona is hoping to spread “Christmas cheer” with her collection of festive tracks.

The Bleeding Love hitmaker – who had a Christmas UK number one with her 2006 single A Moment Like This – is looking forward to performing the Motown inspired tracks during the holiday season.

She previously said: “I cannot wait to get out there this Christmas and perform these songs. I had such fun recording this record and that really comes through in the songs. I am looking forward to spreading a little Christmas cheer!”
