The Roxy Music singer was taken “seriously ill” last night and cancelled an appearance at the O2 to check in with medics.

“Following precautionary tests Bryan has been discharged,” said a spokesperson.

Earlier, rumours had circulated that Ferry, 65, had suffered a heart attack. Ferry has only recently returned to London after a world tour with a reformed Roxy Music, but a friend said that he has “been rough for some time”.

“He felt even worse today,” the friend added to the Daily Mail.

“So, he thought it was best for the doctors to look into it. We’re all obviously very concerned for him.”
