In 2011, American politician Anthony Weiner resigned from Congress after he became embroiled in a sexting scandal. Two years later, this documentary is granted unprecedented access to Weiner as he attempts to put the furore behind him by hitting the election trail in a bid to win the Democratic nomination to run for New York City mayor. He asks the public to give him a second chance only for history to repeat itself when new sexting allegations emerge and throw his campaign into disarray.
