Drummer, pianist, composer and producer Yoshiki is the creative dynamo behind spectacle-driven rock band X Japan, who have sold in excess of 30 million singles and albums worldwide but are largely unknown in the UK. This documentary pays tribute to a one-of-a-kind cultural phenomenon, chronicling the turbulent history of musical virtuosos, culminating in preparations for a reunion concert at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden.
