Tyson is the leader of a gang of thugs, who is constantly breaking the law to pay off his mother’s gambling debts and keep a roof over the head of his teenage sister Nyla. He is distracted by the arrival of country girl Tia, who has come to the capital to spend the summer with her cousin – gang member Davina. Tia’s influence shifts the balance of power within the posse and provides Tyson with a glimpse of a better life, free from intimidation and brutality.
