Georges, Anne and their two children Eva and Ben plan to escape from the ravaged city to seek refuge in their country holiday home. However, the property is already occupied by a ragtag group of survivors. Each day, the family and the squatters struggle to endure, scouring the area for food, water and shelter. As each person comes to term with the situation and realises that nothing will ever be the same again, so they all open themselves to the possibility of transcendence and redemption.
