Eyup works for shady politician Servet, who falls asleep at the wheel and accidentally runs over a woman. In order to save his employer’s glittering career, Eyup serves time for the crime, spending a year behind bars while his wife Hacer is left to cope on her own with their increasingly rebellious son, Ismael. Desperate for emotional and physical support, Hacer turns to Servet and the pair embark on a passionate affair, which is discovered by Ismael a few months before Eyup is due to be released. The guilt begins to gnaw at the adulterous wife as she tries to salvage something meaningful from the wreckage.
