In the space of a decade, the way we buy milk has changed forever. This documentary spends four years on the marshes of the Pevensey Levels with maverick farmer Stephen Hook, who turned his back on the supermarkets to keep his business small and intimate by maintaining a strong personal connection to his herd of 55 spirited cows. The film champions Hook’s attempts to save his farm from financial ruin and reveals the touching bonds between man, animal and countryside.
