Thelma (15)

Thelma is a college student, who is living alone for the first time, unguarded by her curiously cold father Trond and wheelchair user mother Unni. Thelma largely keeps to herself and has no friends until a pretty classmate called Anja smiles at her in the library. Soon after, Thelma suffers what appears to be an epileptic seizure but as she flails on the ground, a flock of birds flies at speed into the library windows. The friendship between the teenagers gradually deepens.
