Peter Taylor, his wife Bronny and children Stephanie and Michael visit the Grand Canyon. During a hike through the desert, Michael stumbles upon a shrine and he takes five black stones and sneaks them back home to suburbia. Very quickly, Michael begins to exhibit worrying behaviour and other members of the Taylor clan are subjected to terrifying visions and phenomena. It transpires that Michael has unwittingly brought demonic forces into the home that won’t leave before blood has been spilt.
