Jaime is a fervent communist, who lives with his wife Sara and young son Alejandro in the northern city of Tocopilla. Right wing president Carlos Ibanez del Campo represents everything that Jaime despises so the doting father resolves to assassinate the leader by securing a position as a groom to del Campo’s horse Bucephalus. Against the odds, Jaime’s plan succeeds and he finds himself alone with the president with a gun in his pocket. All he has to do is pull the trigger.
