Tenacious magistrate Pierre Michel relocates from Metz with his loyal wife Jacqueline to the port city of Marseille in the south. A mafia thug called Gaetan Zampa has the entire city in a vice-like grip including the legal system, which seems powerless to stop Zampa’s reign of blood-spattered terror.
