Nine-year-old boy Louis Drax has been the victim of curious accidents since he was old enough to mewl in his crib. His father Peter and mother Natalie are powerless to prevent Louis tumbling down a cliff during a family picnic. The little boy lies in a coma, clinging onto life, while his parents pray for a miracle. The police led by Officer Dalton suspect foul play.
