Dixie is a postman from South Wales, who is passionate about music and has always dreamt of discovering a great band. Trawling the internet one night, Dixie stumbles upon homemade videos of a band called The Premature Congratulations aka The Prems and becomes convinced that the talented upstarts are destined to rule the charts. So the postman bids farewell to his home and moves to London with girlfriend Shell to convince The Prems to take him on as their manager.
