Sarbjit (12A)

Sarbjit Singh is a kindly farmer, who accidentally strays across the border between India and Pakistan. He is wrongly identified as a terrorist called Manjit Singh, who has masterminded a series of bombings in Lahore. A swift trial condemns Sarbjit to life imprisonment. His sister Dalbir Kaur knows that he is innocent and she embarks on a 23-year crusade to overturn the verdict and secure his release.
