A dramatisation of the life of Indian film actor and producer Sanjay Dutt. Born and raised in Bombay by actor parents Sunil and Nargis, Sanjay is destined to follow them into the film industry, where he commands the adulation of die-hard fans. Celebrity comes at a price and he battles various addictions then in 1993, he is arrested in connection to a series of bombings in Bombay. Sanjay is eventually imprisoned for illegal possession of weapons.
