Rahm (12A)

The Governor of Lahore promotes his younger, puritanical deputy Qazi Ahad, who believes that harsh punishments must be meted out to those who bring shame on the city. One young man is sentenced to death after he is accused of getting his fiancee pregnant by her indignant parents. The accused’s sister Sameena pleads mercy and the Qazi Ahad suggests that the sentence could be commuted in exchange for sexual favours.
