My Father My Lord (PG)

Respected rabbi Abraham Edelman guides his young students towards enlightenment, while affirming his beliefs to his wife Esther and their young son Menachem. They instruct the boy to follow the commandments of the Torah in his daily life, sometimes against his will and better judgement. In turn, he has questions about his soul, leading to a heartbreaking finale which tests Abraham’s faith to breaking point.
