Mimosas

A dying sheikh heads for the medieval city of Sijilmasa, where he will be buried, surrounded by his people. The sheikh’s caravan from Morocco must navigate perilous terrain including a potential short cut through the Atlas Mountains. A preacher named Shakib is chosen as one of the drivers of the caravan. En route, the sheikh passes away and two members of the caravan, Ahmed and Said, conspire to personally benefit from the death.
