Malpertuis: The Legend Of THe House Of Doom (18)

A young sailor called Jan is kidnapped in his home port, and regains consciousness, with a number of strangers, in a huge mansion called Malpertuis. The house’s eccentric owner, Quentin Cassavius tells the assembled throng that he wishes to leave them all his fortune, on the understanding that they will spend the rest of their lives in the mansion. When other inheritors try to leave their new home, and turn up dead, Jan begins to suspect that all is not what it seems in the old house.
