Ambitious aspiring actor Vikram leaves behind his parents in Delhi to establish himself in the creative heart of Bombay, relying on friend Abhimanyu to put him up while he waits for his big break. Meanwhile, Sona also arrives in the city with similar dreams, using her beauty and her feminine wiles to get ahead of the competition. Vikram and Sona meet and are instantly attracted to one another, embarking on a passionate affair. Then he gets his shot at stardom when trouble erupts on the set of the new film of producer Rolly starring box office king Zaffar Khan.
