Self-obsessed New York author Philip Lewis Friedman rose to prominence with his debut novel, Join The Street Parade. He is poised to release the follow-up entitled Obidant but has grown weary of the promotional duties that go hand-in-hand with being a writer. When Philip’s boorish mentor Ike Zimmerman offers him sanctuary at an isolated summer home, the egotistical young writer jumps at the opportunity to obsess about himself in seclusion.
