Letter From An Unknown Woman (U)

Concert pianist Stefan Brand is about to flee Vienna in order to avoid a duel. His thoughts stray when he receives a letter from Ilse, a neighbour from childhood, who nurtured a crush on him in those formative years. Retreating into his memories, Stefan attempts to remember his connection to Ilse, thereby exposing her enslavement to her romantic fantasies.
