Gay playwright Louis has not seen his family for 12 years. Returning home in the midst of a battle with terminal illness, which he has keep secret from his mother Martine and the rest of the brood, Louis encounters hostility from his brother Antoine. Thankfully, Antoine’s wife Catherine is more open to reconciliation, while his sister Suzanne doesn’t really remember him. Secrets come to the fore as Louis debates whether to tell the family about his impending death.
